JOB DESCRIPTION

Join Toolla to design, code, and debug innovative SaaS solutions (server side) for high-profile business customers, including:

  • a state-of-the-art event scheduler based on advanced proprietary AI/machine learning technologies, to be launched by Toolla on the U.S. market,
  • innovative web and mobile services in the area of healthcare, developed in cooperation with a Silicon Valley corporation. Thrive in our dynamic startup atmosphere among other tech enthusiasts, and take lead on crucial aspects of our projects.

WHO WE ARE

Toolla is an application development startup based in Palo Alto, California and Gdansk, Poland. It was founded in 2015 by engineers with degrees from top U.S. universities, including MIT and UC Berkeley. The company develops patented mobile and web solutions in the areas of automated and optimized event scheduling, digital marketing and healthcare. Its customers include fortune 500 US high-tech companies (e.g. Cisco, Avnet).

REQUIREMENTS

The most suitable candidate should:

  • have 5+ years of professional experience in developing web-based applications (server side);
  • be proficient in Java and/or C#/.NET;
  • be proficient in creating database schemas and data storage solutions (using SQL and noSQL platforms) which represent and support business processes;
  • be proficient in management of hosting environments (e.g. AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud), including database administration and maintenance and scaling an application;
  • have experience in using modern authentication and authorization techniques and solutions, have understanding of session management;
  • have basic understanding of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS;
  • be familiar with using version control systems, including git;
  • have a higher education degree in Computer Science or related technical field;
  • have good command of the English language.
